A single intake link for every new client request

Share your intake link once — and every new booking request arrives with the pet profile, the service address, the policy agreement, and the deposit status already attached. You approve, not scramble.

In one sentence

An intake link is your own shareable URL where new clients submit a policy-backed booking request that you review before it becomes an appointment.

How the intake link works

  1. Share the link. Paste it into your Instagram bio, your Google Business Profile, your Facebook page, your website, or your text reply template.
  2. The client fills out the form. Contact, address, pet profile, service, handling notes — then agrees to your cancellation policy.
  3. They get deposit instructions. Email goes out immediately with your deposit link (Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, Stripe — your choice).
  4. You review the request. See the policy they agreed to, any strike history, and whether the deposit has arrived.
  5. Approve, decline, or block. Approved requests turn into real appointments. Problem clients can be blocked in one click.

Why a review step beats direct booking

Mobile grooming is time- and route-sensitive. Letting a stranger pick a slot on your calendar — with no deposit, no policy agreement, and no visibility on whether they have a history with you — is exactly how solo groomers end up driving to a locked gate.

  • — You see the policy agreement and deposit status before anything is confirmed.
  • — You can catch a repeat offender before they land in your schedule again.
  • — New clients are gently filtered by the deposit step.
  • — You are never forced to accept a booking that does not fit your route.

Common questions

What is a grooming intake link?

A single URL you can share on Instagram, Google, Facebook, a business card, or anywhere else. When a new client opens it, they fill out your intake form and submit a booking request that lands in your inbox for review.

How is this different from direct online booking?

Direct online booking lets clients grab a slot on your calendar without your approval. An intake link is a booking request — you review it, check the client's history, confirm the deposit, and approve or decline before anything hits your schedule.

Can I require a deposit through the intake form?

Yes. With Client Control enabled, every request includes your cancellation policy, and clients get deposit instructions by email the moment they submit. You mark the deposit as received and approve when the money lands.

Can I ask different questions for new vs. returning clients?

The intake form is tuned for new-client onboarding (full pet profile, address, policy agreement). Returning clients typically re-book through your normal channel or by messaging you directly.
